Windows Server 2003 provides the ability to connect to the console (session 0) of a computer by using a Remote Desktop connection.

There are two ways to accomplish this.

1. Using the following command "mstsc /console".

2. Using the Remote Desktops MMC Snap-in, "tsmmc.msc". This is include with a 2003 Server install or can be added to XP with "Adminpak.msi" (Windows Server 2003 Administration Tools Pack for XP)
